Congratulations to our California Flyers Teams for such an AMAZING day at the CheerPros State Championships. Our Stunt Group showed off their talents and received 1st Place. Pro-X finished proud in 2nd and Kamikazes came in with a strong 3rd Place. X-treme powered through with an energetic routine coming in 1st Place and receiving the "Flawless Performance" award from all who observed! We are so proud of our Air Force teams!

GSSA Championships
December 10-11, 2011 - San Jose, CA

Pro-X had an exciting weekend! They competed at the GSSA's San Jose Championships to try and earn a bid to the Cheerleading Worlds Competition in April, 2012.

On Day 1, morning pre-rehearsals played out great and all went into Round 1 later that night with confidence and a desire to 'bring it' on the performance mat! Pro-X did what they thought they could! Despite a stunt fall and tumbling error, they fought hard to show their strength and power! We placed 3rd in our division and in the top 6 scores of the entire event!

Day 2 - Though a bit tired from Day 1, Pro-X pumped themselves up to not only correct their mistakes from Day 1, but to also improve their category points in stunts, tumbling, showmanship and jumps. They received the highest pyramid and basket toss scores out of every participating team at the even. Their goals of improving also included pushing their pyramid and baskets just like they showed on Day 1.
...and they DID JUST THAT!
Best performance from Pro-X EVER! Completely enthusiastic and energized routine w/ ZERO deductions. Their scores were the highest in their division for Day 2 performances.

Anticipation was at its highest as they awaited the "Great Eight" announcements...
...did their routine scores from Day 2 propel them enough to remain in the top scores? And....it did! "Great Eight" included California Flyers Pro-X, along with the top teams from California All-Stars, Pacific Coast Magic, and OC All-Stars.

After a random drawing to compete 5th, Pro-X entered Round 3. Exhausted and functioning purely on adrenaline of competing against the top 8 teams in the state, Pro-X hit the warm up yet once again! Knowing that the majority of the teams they would be competing head to head with were co-ed and large teams, they knew it was their only option to GO ALL OUT and not leave anything behind!
Another GREAT performance! Just one Stunt fall kept them from another flawless routine!

We are so proud to announce that our Pro-X team won a bid to the Worlds Competition, finished in the top 6 teams out of the entire competition, and placed 3rd overall in the Small Sr 5 division.

Congratulations! We are so proud of each and every team member!

Congratulations Hotshot Mini's for placing 2nd at the Jamz Golden Classic at Magic Mountain on December 3! Way to make us proud!

JAMZ Bid Challenge 2011

Congratulations to our Air Force teams who ALL qualified for our National event to be held in Las Vegas in February!
And to our coach and choreographer, Shelly for creating such a stunning routine for Pro-X who won "Best Choreography" out of the entire competition! Congratulations Pro-X for making that routine look fun and effortless!
KAMIKAZES: 2nd place - a personal best in performance- a super strong routine and energy you could not only see but feel! Awesome job girls!
X-TREME: 1st place -you continue to improve and get stronger every time! Keep it up! You are on your way to AMAZING!
PRO-X: 1st place- way to rock the crowd and way to out-perform GSSA's competition routine performance! Keep your goals high and stick to them… you will be unstoppable!

GSSA Southern Cal Classic 2011
November 12, 2011 - Irvine, CA

Congratulations to our California Flyers Teams for such an AMAZING day at GSSA. Our Hotshot Minis showed off their brand new routine with sassy smiles and super enthusiasm and the Kamikazes Junior Team proved that they can stunt like the senior teams. X-treme front flipped their way through a jam-packed routine and showed us a glimpse into our season... that they will be a force to reckon with! A big proud moment for our Pro-X Team as they were named Level 5 restricted Champions, receiving the highest score of the day and voted Judges Choice and Grand Champions of the entire competition. They have proven that believing in yourself and each other can lead to a powerful force on the performance floor!

Join us at our next competitions: Nov. 19th at Anaheim Convention Center and Dec. 10-11th at San Jose.

CONGRATS to Tiny Twinklers, Skyraiders & Vipers!!!!!

Congratulations Tiny Twinklers, Skyraiders & Vipers for performing their best routines this past Sunday at Knotts Berry Farm and making it a CLEAN SWEEP! All teams won 1st place in their category, as well as earning the title as Division Champions, and Winning the Grand Prize of them all... PROGRAM CHAMPION for the entire competition!

Both teams put it all out on the floor! Despite each having one fall in their routine, they both nailed their basket tosses and pyramids and ended strong with their precision and energy in their dances. Send your support, your thoughts and well wishes as we head into Day 2 and give it all we've got!

Update: Day 2 in Atlanta
Congratulations to our Air Force teams who showed Atlanta that California is a force to be reckoned with. Over 900 teams traveled from across the Nation to battle for a National Title. That's over 30,000 cheerleaders permeating the streets of Georgia!!! The competition is getting tougher, more teams are in attendance than ever before with bigger divisions. We are so proud of our teams! Kamikazes came in 4th and X-treme took 11th. It was an intense weekend full of surprises and AMAZING ATHLETICISM. We are proud that our teams are among the top in the Nation and thank our parents and team members for being so dedicated to cheerleading! We live it every day and can't wait to see what's in store for us at our next event!

Air Force Competition: GSSA So Cal Classic

Congratulations to our Kamikazes & X-treme teams for bringing home two 1st places! Both teams kicked off our season by competing AMAZING and IMPRESSIVE routines! X-treme won in SR Open Level 5, and Kamikazes also not only won Sr level 2, but earned the title of Level 2 Division Champions as well! We are so proud of our Air Force teams!

Join us at our next competitions; Dec. 4th at Magic Mountain and Dec 11th at Anaheim Convention.

More than 20,000 people came out to the annual Santa Clarita Valley Fourth of July Parade. Team members from California Flyers and students of Gymcheer USA joined in the parade and WON FIRST PLACE in their category of Youth Group (Non-Float). CONGRATS!!!!!

Congratulations to our Air Force teams who showed Atlanta that California is a force to be reckoned with. Over 850 teams traveled from across the Nation to battle for a National Title; That's over 30,000 cheerleaders permeating the streets of Georgia.

Kamikazes are bringing home a National Championship title, banner, and first place trophy! We are also proud that our X-treme team won 5th place in one of the toughest categories at the Cheersport event! It was an intense weekend full of surprises and AMAZING ATHLETICISM. We are proud that our teams are among the top in the Nation and thank our parents and team members for being so dedicated to cheerleading! We live it every day and can't wait to see what's in store for us at our next event - in LAS VEGAS!

02/19/09 - CALIFORNIA FLYERS are taking the cheer world by STORM!
Air Force Teams, Jr. Jets and Stingers, have claimed their fame in the 2009 cheer world.
- Check out our Front Page Article in the Atlanta, Georgia Journal News Article featuring our very own cheerleaders in a photo.
- They also were featured in a local television broadcast, which will be airing this month (more info to follow).
- This follows up a recent request to star as cheerleaders in a music video for an upcoming country pop artist, Shea Fisher! Check out her video - just released!

02/17/09 - ATLANTA, GEORGIA RESULTS
Jr. Jets have been named Small Junior 3 National Champions for 2009! Congrats! Awesome job girls! Check out Jr. Jets performance:

CONGRATS!!!! The beautiful and talented Lauren Wolff was named Top 10 Female Tumbler in Cheer Passionation's So You Think You Can Tumble Contest. Thanks to all her fans who voted, she won 2nd place! Way to go Lauren!

Stingers competed the routine of their lives and won 3rd place next to the best program in the nation (Top Gun from Florida). We are proud to be next to a program who is truly the best in the country! That says a ton about our program, coaches and cheerleaders! Check out Stingers performance:

02/2009 - WOW! You wouldn't believe it unless you experienced it!
Both teams impressed like you would not believe. Jr Jets brought home a 1st place, and Stingers a 2nd place at the Duel of the Desert, Palm Springs Cheer Event this weekend. You all need to know how much they rocked the performance floor. Both teams experienced team challenges and obstacles, but quitting wasn't an option and pressed on through it all, and did their best performances ever! Come out and support both teams as we leave for Atlanta Georgia, the largest cheerleading Nationals in the Nation!
